Talented Tamil hero Arun Vijay, the son of yesteryear hero and currently popular supporting artist Vijayakumar, started his career as a hero and went on to star in more than 10-15 films, all of which became disasters. While few of the films became moderately successful and critically acclaimed like Pandavar Bhoomi and Iyarkai, Arun Vijay couldn't quite shine as a hero.
He began a second innings of sorts, starring in commercially successful films like Malai Malai, the critically acclaimed violent action thriller Thadayara Thakka, when he suddenly received a huge opportunity from none other than classy maker Gautham Vasudev Menon to star as a villain in Thala Ajith starrer Cop hit Yennai Arindhaal in 2015.
After that, he made his debut as a villain in Telugu with Bruce Lee opposite Ramcharan, and in Kannada with Chakravyuha opposite Puneeth Rajkumar. Now the actor, who's a part of the cast of Prabhas starrer multilingual Saaho, has confirmed that he's not playing a negative role this time, but will be playing a positive role which gives a crucial twist. Meanwhile, he has also completed 90% shooting of his upcoming Tamil flick Thadam.
