Tollywood has been facing a tough time, as 2018 April has been changed into a massive battlefield, with the announcement of release dates of biggies, one after the other. While it started with the announcement of Naa Peru Surya by its makers, it was followed by the announcement of releasing Bharat Ane Nenu on the same day itself.

Starring Allu Arjun, Naa Peru Surya directed by Vakkantham Vamsy was announced by its makers as an April 27 Release, but much to their shock, DVV Danayya, the producer of Koratala Siva's Mahesh Babu starrer Bharat Ane Nenu also announced April 27 as release date, making it a big clash. While it was seen as an unnecessary clash that might eat into each other's collections, then came a totally unexpected third angle.

The makers of Superstar Rajnikanth - Shankar combo's upcoming sci-fi Magnum Opus 2.0 also announced their release date as April 27, to the shock of Telugu Makers, as Rajni is a biggie in Telugu as well, and allocation of theatres will be a huge trouble. However, it has now been rumored that 2.0 will release on April 27, while Bharat Ane Nenu will release earlier on April 13, while Naa Peru Surya will be pushed to May 11. Let's wait for an official announcement from the 3 teams.
