Ashwin and Jadeja bags top two spots in ICC rankings

Team India's spin stars Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja bag the first two spots respectively in the latest ICC test bowling rankings. Jadeja's performance has earned him 66 points and brought him within eight points of Ashwin.
This is the second time that two Indians are placed back to back in the ICC rankings for test bowlers. Left arm spinner Bishan Singh Bedi and leg spinner Bhagwat Chandrasekhar, ranked one and two way back in 1974.
Jadeja who starred for India in the Chennai test against England grabbed 10 wickets and taking 26 wickets overall in the five match series. While R.Ashwin took 28 wickets in the series but could not fetch a single wicket in his home groung at Chennai disappointing the local crowd.
The two players played a key role in winning the the test matches against West Indies,New zealand and England. Ashwin and Jadeja pair troubled the opponents with their bowling and played a vital role in India's 18 straight test wins.
