- Day 2 Basilica of the National Shrine - Franciscan Monastery—Amish Farm - Hershey’s Chocolate World - New York
- We will visit the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, which is the largest Roman Catholic Church in the US, and is one of the ten largest churches in the world. Byzantine-Romanesque in style, its massive, one-of-a-kind superstructure is home to over 70 chapels and oratories that relate to the peoples, cultures and traditions. We also visit the Holy Land - Franciscan Monastery, the grounds and monastery include many replicas of the iconic sites in the Holy Land. Heading north, we visit the authentic Amish farm in Lancaster, PA, which is more than 300 years old, and is a truly an educational experience for the whole family. This 25-acre farm is dedicated to showing people about the Amish lifestyle in a fun and constructive way. After lunch in Lancaster, we will have a sweet tour of the Hershey’s Chocolate World. Follow cocoa beans on a delicious journey in this immersive chocolate making tour. See, feel, hear and smell the transformation of cocoa beans to Hershey’s famous chocolate on this fun tour. Afterward, head back to New York City.
