Bottom Line: A 'Carefree' lovable love story !
Befikre is a story that celebrates being carefree in love. A quintessential Delhi boy Dharam (Ranveer Singh) comes to Paris for work in search of an adventure. Just when he was about to embark on this journey of his life he bumps into a wild, free spirited, French-born Indian girl Shyra (Vaani Kapoor). In Paris, Dharam meets Shreya an Indian woman, born and raised in France. They dance, drink, sing songs, fall in love, move in together, fall out of love Both faces many challenges and struggles and understands that love can be taken by those who dare to love.
Aditya Chopra has written the story and has directed and produced the hot and sexy movie on behalf of Yash Raj Films Company. Vishal-Shekhar had composed superb music and the background scores were played by Mikey Mc Cleary. Vaani Kapoor has acted more freely with Ranveer in all the kissing scenes. The movie was shot to the maximum in Paris. One will lose the counting of a number of kisses, where Ranveer and Vaani lip locks throughout the movie.
Kaname Onoyama has made the cinematography work and he has beautifully shown Paris to the audience more Surprisingly. Namrata Rao has done the editing part very aptly. The sexy tones of the film do not stop there. The first scene has Singh's Dharam breaking up with his live-in girlfriend . And as he angrily throws her out of his apartment Dharam struts around only in a short black boxer brief. Kapoor and Singh are natural dancers and even in many of the film's choreographed sequences they move their bodies with a lot of ease.
Kapoor's fans should not be disappointed. The actress shows enough skin through the film, often taking her top off and showing her bra. She especially looks positively hot shaking her hips and dancing to the song Nashe Si Chad Gayi. And she and Singh are equally attractive dancing on the streets of Paris to the song Ude Dil Befikre. Befikre carries quite a bit of BBB hangover, with an occasional nod to Chopra's breakthrough film Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Watch the movie this weekend and dare to fall in love.
